PeopleSoft FSCM 9.1 Feature Pack 2: More Capabilities for the Staffing Industry

We wrote about PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management 9.1 Feature Pack 2 a couple weeks ago, focusing on the asset and maintenance management aspects of the feature pack release. Unveiled in January of this year, Feature Pack 2 (FP2) is turning out to be quite a powerful addition to FSCM 9.1.

Over at the PeopleSoft Apps Strategy blog, Mark Rosenberg talks about why FP2 is a huge bonus for organizations in the staffing industry:

Staffing industry firms succeed based on their ability to rapidly, cost-effectively, and continually fill their pipelines with new clients and job orders, recruit the best talent, and match orders with talent. Pressure to execute in each of these functional areas is even more acute on staffing firms as contingent labor becomes a more substantial and permanent part of the workforce mix. In an industry that creates value through speedy execution, there is little room for manual, inefficient processes and brittle, custom integrations, which throttle profitability and growth.

Specifically, FP2 drives further value by improving simplicity, productivity and a lower TCO for staffing firms looking to enable and sustain a flexible labor supply chain. If you’re in the staffing industry, you owe it to yourself to read Rosenberg’s entire post.

If you have any further questions about PeopleSoft FSCM 9.1 with our without FP2 aspects, drop us a line. We’re always happy to talk.
