We recently wrote a blog about using PeopleSoft Health and Safety to track COVID-19 cases. Additionally, Oracle has written several blogs about PeopleSoft HR capabilities. Putting it all together with PeopleSoft HR can provide an overall approach for dealing with COVID-19 including:
- Tracking COVID-19 incidents.
- Setting up a remote workforce.
- Tracking provided assets for remote workforce.

As with most organizations these days, employees are working remotely. Standard functionality in PeopleSoft HR can track when employees started to work remotely, for what duration and if any agreements are in place. Robbin Velayedam from Oracle has written this blog on the topic.
If remote workers are being provided assets (such as cell phones, printers/scanners, etc.), PeopleSoft can be used to track those assets, their value and asset possession. This information allows your organization to understand the value of assets that have been distributed to support remote work and to be able to secure those assets when remote work ends. Jeremy Pelley from Oracle has written a blog about this topic.
Putting it all together with PeopleSoft HR, you can track COVID-19 incidents in addition to your organization’s remote workers and their assets.
