Fluid Enhancements with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 Image 12

PeopleSoft posted the HCM 9.2 Update Image on April 10th.   I want to point out a couple of enhancements to the Fluid User Interface that will make you continue to appreciate the significant investments PeopleSoft is making to its applications. The Fluid enhancement provides the look and feel offered by the Cloud – simple, intuitive and consistent across different devices. It is truly the best of both worlds, providing a great user experience plus offering all the depth of the PeopleSoft functionality. Below are the enhancements for HCM self-service transactions and the company directory that are in Image 12.

PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface supports a wide range of self-service transactions for managers and employees in PeopleSoft HCM. These transaction pages demonstrate a consistent look and feel across all applications and devices (laptops, tablets and smart phones) and are dynamically adjusted based on the size of your screen for best viewing results. In HCM 9.2 Image 12, continued enhancements are made to optimize the display of fluid tiles and pages on smart phones for these Employee Self-Service transactions: Benefits, Pay, Payslips, Performance, Personal Details and Talent Profile. These were optimized to display better on small screens.

The enhancements for the Company Directory pages display category tabs in the left panel of the page that allow you to change the content that appears in the right panel of the page. You can simply tap an employee to view their profile data. Also on the profile data you can tap the View Org Chart button to view a graphical representation of where this employee fits within the organization.
