PeopleSoft FSCM Enhancements

The PeopleSoft FSCM enhancements were across modules as broken down by the chart below with Receivables having the most enhancements overall followed by Purchasing and Expenses.

The New PeopleSoft FSCM Features – PUM Updates – Images 54 & 55

The new PeopleSoft FSCM PUM Updates – Images 54 & 55 included many valuable enhancements.  While each PUM update will have different value and meet different needs depending on the modules you own and your business practices, a few key enhancements are included in the list below.  Many of the enhancements centered around updating to the newest Homepage functionality and deploying Insights to WorkCenters.  

• General: Enhanced the Enterprise Components WorkCenter framework to enable insights dashboards to be embedded within My Work links in Fluid WorkCenters. This allows for direct and visual interaction with data on linked pages. Dashboard filters are automatically applied to the My Work grid, providing administrators with the latest transaction data based on dashboard interactions.
• General: Adopted the PeopleTools 8.62 feature for Sectionalized Homepages. This feature allows you to configure individualized landing pages that include sections for an enhanced user experience. FSCM has delivered sample Homepages, also known as landing pages, that can be copied and modified for your use.
• GL: Enhanced nVision drilldown layouts to improve formatting and added fields for drilled from information.
• Assets: Enhanced Depreciation Reporting table load process by adding a seven year depreciation forecast report. This will make reporting more efficient for customers with large volumes of assets.
• Billing: Enhanced the Spreadsheet Import to Billing Interface process to work with OneDrive and simplified the distribution of new workbook versions. Log files are now written to the same workbook file in the new Import Logs tab. The Import Logs tab displays the status and log message. This feature streamlines the import process, improves user experience, and eliminates unnecessary steps.
• Expenses: Enhanced credit card encryption by allowing you to select from multiple encryption algorithms, which are initially loaded using the Encryption Profile page in PeopleTools. The FSCM Manage Credit Card Encryption page is modified to select a new encryption profile from your list, which updates the algorithm for all FSCM records.
• Lease: Added the Lease Administration Fluid WorkCenter, empowering Lease Administrators to efficiently view and manage leased assets and handle processing exceptions. Additionally, users will have quick access to their most used transactions, reports, and processes.
• Payables: Added Insights Dashboard that highlights match exceptions by Voucher as well as match exceptions if using the Match Exception Collaboration Center functionality. The dashboard is available in the Insights Catalog with PeopleTools 8.61 or higher.
• eProcurement: Enhanced eProcurement Fluid Create Requisition to allow the users to search and view external supplier catalogs on the Catalog Search Results page. The ePro Administrator can import these catalogs via Oracle Business Network (OBN) or through the Import External Catalog option on the Maintain External Catalogs page.
