BLUEPRINT 4D 2026, the global, annual Oracle conference, is in the books – four days of presentations, collaboration, education, and good amount of fun. If you were there, I hope you had as great an experience as I did. If you weren’t, you may want to consider going next year. For those of you who may not be familiar with BLUEPRINT, this is the global user group conference for PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Oracle Fusion software. All are very well represented, but the focus of this blog will be the PeopleSoft content, and MIPRO’s experience at the conference.
It’s hard to summarize the entire BLUEPRINT 4D 2026 conference in a short blog, but some of the highlights included Paco Abrujuan’s PeopleSoft Keynote, which provided an update and investment strategy overview for PeopleSoft. The themes included improving the user experience and productivity, ease of administration for supporting and updating PeopleSoft, and reiterating the 10-year rolling support window for PeopleSoft, which has been extended to at least December 2037. In addition to Paco’s keynote, several more roadmap sessions were presented by the PeopleSoft product strategy teams for Financials, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management and Technology – PeopleTools.
This year at BLUEPRINT 4D 2026, there was a new PeopleSoft track added for Campus Solutions. This included a Campus Solutions roadmap session, a CS SIG meetup and several sessions throughout the conference focused on Campus Solutions. MIPRO’s own Shannon Roche hosted a Campus Solutions panel, where higher education leaders shared their experiences, challenges and successes, in an interactive discussion with audience members. The new track was a success, and we anticipate this to grow even larger next year.
MIPRO presented multiple sessions at BLUEPRINT 4D 2026
Keep PeopleSoft Fresh included a live demo of several tools within PeopleSoft that can help enhance the user experience using dashboards, homepages, drilling URLs, and Page and Field Configurator.
The Energizer Bunny of Software: PeopleSoft highlighted the continuing value of PeopleSoft and helped customers understand that you don’t have to move to a new system to be current and viable. The State of Oklahoma co-presented with MIPRO and discussed their commitment and future plans for PeopleSoft.
Rolling Out Dashboards discussed the new PeopleSoft Dashboards, which is a redesign of the previous homepage. We provided a live demo of how the new dashboards can be set up and configured to be intuitive and efficient for end users.
Tuesday night at BLUEPRINT 4D 2026 featured the PeopleSoft Innovator Award reception. We were honored to attend with the State of Oklahoma, who was recognized as a PeopleSoft Expansion Innovator for rolling out PeopleSoft to two different agencies last year. It was a great event, and we were happy to see our customer get recognized for their leadership and hard work.
In addition to the sessions and the formal agenda at BLUEPRINT 4D 2026, MIPRO hosted our annual customer appreciation reception at the Rodeo Goat. This was a fun evening that allowed Oracle customers to meet and interact with each other in a relaxed, fun environment while enjoying some amazing burgers.
We also want to highlight two of our MIPRO team who were recognized during BLUEPRINT 4D 2026. Halie Smith completed the Quest Emerging Leaders program and presented a capstone presentation and graduated from the program at BLUEPRINT. Shannon Roche was also recognized by Quest with a volunteer leadership award for her work in promoting Quest, BLUEPRINT, and helping get the Campus Solutions track in place for this year. Congratulations to Halie and Shannon.
The overall tone of the BLUEPRINT 4D 2026 conference was that of excitement. In talking with customers and other attendees throughout the week, there was a lot of buzz about the new features and the roadmap for PeopleSoft. The customer and vendors presentations continued that excitement and shared many successful projects and initiatives that customers have completed recently.
Finally, a big thank you goes out to Quest, the Oracle User Group, and the customer board members. You always shine at BLUEPRINT, and this year was no exception. The conference was a big success thanks to your planning efforts. Your interaction with the attendees and the vendor community throughout BLUEPRINT 4D 2026 was the icing on the cake. You all put in the extra effort to check in with us vendors regularly to make sure things were going well for us, in addition to the attendees. That is greatly appreciated.
As a final, final, personal note, I discovered that after a long conference, a simple, but good, card trick on the last night can turn you into party entertainment for the late-night crowd hanging out in the hotel atrium. As I was heading to my room on the last night of BLUEPRINT 4D 2026, I saw a couple customers playing cards and stopped to say goodbye before they headed home. Since there was a deck of cards, I showed them an old card trick I know. Thirty plus minutes later, after showing the trick about a dozen times, I was finally able to say goodbye and leave them entertained. I share this only to say even after a long conference, there is still fun to be had.
