With Oracle’s release of FSCM PUM 42, as in most PUM releases, there were many enhancements to consider to help determine what could benefit your organization the most. The Image 42 Highlights video is always a great way to get a quick view of what’s new. In watching this video, one interesting thing really stood out. Well over half of the new features were a result of feature requests through Idea Space.
So why is this important and why should you care? If you attended the 2021 Reconnect Dive Deep conference or listened to presentations from the PeopleSoft product management team, you will consistently hear requests to offer feature enhancement suggestions through Idea Space. Oracle highlighting which new features are a result of Idea Space shows that they use this user community tool as a major influencer of where they invest their development resources.

If you’re not familiar with Idea Space, a quick description is that it is an online tool that allows PeopleSoft customers to offer enhancement ideas to the PeopleSoft product teams and also allows customers to vote or support an existing idea. This provides the PeopleSoft executive team direct customer feedback and helps them determine where to invest resources.
You can get to the Idea Space here. Use your My Oracle Support (MOS) account to access Idea Space and let Oracle know what you’d like to see in future releases.
