MIPRO’s Highlights From Alliance 2022 – Live and In Person Once Again

In person conferences are back!  MIPRO was thrilled to participate in the Higher Education User Group (HEUG) 2022 Alliance conference, March 13-15 in Seattle.

The first and most obvious thing that jumped out was the excitement of being back together in person.  The opening night welcome reception was filled with colleagues and friends reuniting, discussing projects, plans and personal stories that haven’t been shared recently.  Comments about being happy to back in person were heard throughout the conference and even at nearby restaurants.

The conference itself was filled with a great variety of topics, including customer case studies, product presentations and roundtables.  PeopleSoft was well represented with dozens of sessions covering product updates, specific product features and many others from all PeopleSoft pillars – Financials, Human Capital Management and Student Information System.  In addition to the valuable presentations, the exhibit hall was filled with vendors addressing all aspects of higher education application needs.  HEUG also added a little extra in the exhibit hall this year and arranged for a local animal shelter to bring rescue dogs for attendees to interact with.

We had a great turnout for the MIPRO sponsored Public Sector happy hour.  Attendees from across the U.S. and Canada, as well as many HEUG board members, gathered to talk business, socialize and share what they heard throughout the conference.  MIPRO also had a very interactive audience during our presentation on the Value of PeopleSoft on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. 

We’re excited to be back in person and hope to see you at future conferences and events throughout 2022 and beyond.
