Part 2: Oracle Cloud HCM 25B Release – Driving Results with Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and Analytics

As part of MIPRO’s continued pursuit of excellence in Oracle Cloud Applications, we strive to provide the best of the application capabilities to the users in an understandable way. In Part 1 of our HCM 25B blog series, we explored key enhancements to Redwood UI, AI-driven navigation, Time & Labor, Compensation, Core HR, and Absence Management. In Part 2, we continue the journey by diving into updates in Compensation, Absence Management and Recruitment, along with our expert guidance on how to bring it all together.

Integration with Redwood UI: The modernized user interface enhances the administration of compensation pages by providing streamlined navigation, intuitive controls, and real-time data updates, making it easier for users to view and manage compensation history and individual plans efficiently.

Enhanced compensation history views: The ability to maintain attachments within individual compensation pages improves documentation and record-keeping by allowing users to easily upload, access, and organize relevant files directly within each compensation record, ensuring comprehensive and centralized information management.

Online Statement in Redwood My Compensation: Employees can now see their Total Compensation Online Statements in My Compensation which was earlier available only through the View Total Compensation Statements quick action. Previously, My Compensation only showed Total  Compensation Printable Statements, provided they were generated. Now if generated, the Printable Statement can be opened from the Online Statement; this was the original behavior prior to the inception of the responsive user interface.

Attachment support in compensation pages: Compensation History enhancements provide improved views and easier access to historical data, enabling users to track changes, analyze trends, and make informed decisions more effectively by offering clearer, more organized, and comprehensive historical insights.

Enhanced Redwood Experience for Absences and Entitlements page: The Redwood Experience offers a modern user interface for Absences and Entitlements pages, significantly enhancing user experience by providing intuitive navigation, clearer displays, and streamlined access to leave management features, making it easier for employees and HR teams to manage absences efficiently.

Integration with Workforce Management (WFM) scheduling: Absence Entry with WFM Scheduling enables employees to request absences while taking their work schedules into account, ensuring accurate leave planning, reducing scheduling conflicts, and improving workforce management by aligning absences with operational needs.

Ability to add absences directly from the calendar: Enabling employees to add absences directly from their calendar view simplifies leave management by allowing quick, intuitive access to request time off, ensuring better visibility of schedules, and streamlining the process for both employees and HR teams.

Capture of absence reasons on time cards: Capturing absence reasons on the time card allows employees to specify the reasons for their absences directly within their time records, enhancing accuracy, providing clearer documentation for payroll and compliance purposes, and enabling managers to better understand attendance patterns.

Calculation of unpaid break durations: Accurately calculating unpaid break durations ensures compliance with labor regulations and guarantees precise payroll processing by properly accounting for non-paid time, thereby preventing errors and maintaining fair employee compensation.

Enhanced candidate tracking tools: Tools to track applicants through each stage of the recruitment process enable efficient management of candidate pipelines, providing visibility into application statuses, interview progress, and hiring decisions, thereby streamlining recruitment workflows and improving overall hiring outcomes.

Improved job posting capabilities: Enabling HR teams to post job openings across multiple platforms directly from the system simplifies the recruitment process, expands the reach of job postings, and saves time by allowing seamless distribution to various job boards and social media channels from a single interface.

Streamlined interview management: Tools that help schedule interviews and collect feedback from panels streamline the interview process by coordinating schedules efficiently, reducing manual coordination, and gathering structured evaluations, leading to faster decision-making and improved candidate assessment.
