NEWS: New Web 2.0/Collaborative Functionality for Customers Licensing PeopleTools 8.5
Since we announced our fixed-fee PeopleTools 8.5 upgrade service, we’ve had a lot of interest and inquiries about not only how our service works, but what,
exactly, PeopleTools 8.5 gives you. We’ve covered that here and here, but recently Oracle announced an additional benefit of licensing PeopleTools 8.5, and we’re finding it’s something many prospects aren’t aware of.
Simply put, if you decide to run PeopleTools 8.5, you will be granted a limited-use license to the PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal 9.1 (see our sneak peek here) in order to take advantage of PeopleSoft’s Web 2.0/Collaborative functionality. The resulting functionality includes Collaborative Workspaces and Related Content Services, and you can learn more by downloading the official Oracle data sheet, below. In short, there’s some very good stuff here.
