Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Oracle Fusion from an HCM Perspective

Employee Self-Service (ESS) and Oracle Fusion from an HCM Perspective

A quick bit of self-indulgence, if you don’t mind.

As a (hopefully) regular reader of this blog, I thought I’d take this opportunity to share an good HR-related article that was recently featured in HRO Today. But first, I’ll provide some background on our Human Capital Management (HCM) practice, in case you’re not familiar.

I am Anne Meyer, MIPRO’s PeopleSoft HCM Practice Manager and a seasoned HR industry veteran. Hi. In a nutshell, I spend my time partnering with our customers to address operational challenges through implementations and upgrades of PeopleSoft HCM applications. With more than 25 years of industry experience and a 12-year focus on HCM in particular, if you’ve heard it, I’ve seen it.

MIPRO is often referred to as a thought leader in the HCM space, and as such we are often called upon to discuss HR industry trends and solutions. One such trend is Employee Self Service (ESS). I recently connected with HRO Today magazine to discuss ESS as it relates to Oracle applications. The article, entitled Control Your Own Destiny, is available here for your reference. I think you’ll find the insight about ESS interesting and informative.

In the article, I essentially discuss Oracle’s answer to ESS functionality — Fusion. If you have any questions about ESS, Fusion, or how we can identify and implement the best self-service solution for your organization, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I always look forward to new conversations.

Thanks for indulging me!
