Quarterly PeopleSoft New Features Update

Did you know there were 43 new features and functionality delivered in HCM Images 22 and 23? These features especially impact Core HR. 

There were also 44 new features and functionality delivered in FSCM Image 25 and 26, impacting the financial and supply chain modules. The enhancements are spread across the modules but include multiple Fluid Approvals enhancements for Maintenance Management, Asset Management and Purchasing.

Of these new features more than 35 of them are Fluid related enhancements continuing PeopleSoft’s commitment to move more and more functionality to Fluid.

General FSCM Enhancements	Enhanced the Fluid Approval feature to use the Fluid User Interface Approval Component. This allows fluid approval pages to adjust dynamically based on the detected form factor. General FSCM Enhancements	Added the Page and Field Configurator Framework, which is built on PeopleTools Event Mapping. General FSCM Enhancements	Added the Supplier Scordcarding feature to Supplier Lifecycle Management. This feature allows you to measure Supplier performance against a set of targets to ensure that the supplier is meeting your organizational requirements. Supplier Scorecarding subjectively evaluates your suppliers using evaluation templates, weighted and scored questions, solicitation of evaluations from your users, and scorecard analytics that have drill down capabilities.	9.2.025	8.55
General FSCM Enhancements	Enhanced the VAT Registration feature in support of the Spanish law that makes it mandatory to deliver the VAT register of received and submitted invoices, as well as interstate shipments, electronically to the tax authorities via a predetermined XML format. Spanish organizations must report to their tax authorities, within four days of the issuance or receipt of a supplier or customer invoice. The tax authority confirms the tax calculation and provides a return file with the status for each invoice. This law was effective July 1, 2017.	9.2.025	8.54
General FSCM Enhancements	Starting with PeopleTools 8.56, PeopleSoft Classic Plus is replacing the traditional PeopleSoft Classic User Interface as the standard user interface for PeopleSoft applications. When using the Fluid UI, you can copy from an existing request, request standalone tree related changes, and submit a single request that contains multiple ChartField or tree changes. Grants	Enhanced the Grants Facilities and Administration feature to prevent costs from being processed based on certain conditions, such a pre-award spending and overspending. This is achieved by assigning a specific status and being able to place the transaction on hold. This feature is in response to OMB Uniform Guidance CFR200.	9.2.025	8.54
Grants	Added the Modify End Dates feature to provide an efficient method of updating end dates in Grants, Contracts, and Project Costing. This feature adds a one-page utility to update the award end date, related contract lines, associated projects and activities, as well as funding and award modification dates.	9.2.025	8.54
Grants	Added a Homepage for Grants Administrators. This homepage allows Grants administrators to review and update award milestones and certifications, prioritized by due date. Additional tiles provide visibility to the amount of pre-award spending, letters of credit that are expiring, and funds and awards approaching their end date.	9.2.026	8.55

Purchasing	Enhanced the Fluid Approval Workflow feature for the Supplier User Registration transactions. This enhancement allows you to view detailed information about the supplier user account, the supplier, and associated roles and privileges waiting to be approved.
