PEOPLESOFT SUPPLIER SELF SERVICE SERIES – PART VII: Bidding Opportunities

In Part VII of our Supplier Self Service series, we will explore Bidding Opportunities on the Supplier Secure Home Page. Users must have a user ID with proper security to access the Bidding Opportunities.

By clicking on the Bidding Opportunities tile, the user is presented a summary of bidding events including:

• View of all events
• New Events
• Events that have been accepted
• Events the supplier is winning
• Events the supplier is currently outbid on
• Events declined
• Events withdrawn

The user can also view by buying organization.

In both views, users can see invited and public events. When clicking on a specific event, the details are presented.

The user can now take the following actions depending on the status of the event:

• Accept the bid invitation
• Bid on the event
• Decline the bid invitation
• Upload the bid

When determining a bid, the supplier can enter the bid details:

From the Secure Supplier Portal site, suppliers can now interact and respond to the event bid setup by customers with Strategic Sourcing.
