MIPRO Session Information

PeopleSoft Lease Administration Client Success Story (Session ID 100430, May 9th, 11:30am-12:15pm)

In this session Steven will share MIPRO’s most recent Lease Administration customer story. A large international mining company needed to implement and transition to the new ASC 842 accounting standards. The implementation needed to be completed within 4 months; project milestones were on a tight timeline. Working closely with the client, MIPRO was able to put a plan in place to successfully implement Lease Administration and provide the training and knowledge transfer needed for the customer to be self-sufficient at the end of the project. This presentation will be interactive – discussing the implementation, scope, goals, challenges, knowledge transfer, and go-live cutover.

Using PeopleSoft Lease Administration: Supporting the New Accounting Standard GASB 96 (Session 109420, May 9th, 1:05pm1:35pm)

This session will focus on the new GASB 96 accounting standards for Subscription Based Information Technology Agreements (SBITAs) such as cloud-based software. In this session, Steven will discuss the SBITA components, a working example using PeopleSoft Lease Administration, and the required accounting entries. He will also discuss the configuration needed to support GASB 96 and that Lease Administration can support GASB 96 without any customizations needed.

Oklahoma Department of Human Services Replaces Legacy Financial System with PeopleSoft (Session ID 102390, May 10th, 5:00pm-5:45pm)

The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) recently implemented PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain to replace their legacy financial system. The Department of Human Services teamed with Oklahoma’s Office of Management and Enterprise Services to utilize the state’s existing PeopleSoft environment while allowing for the unique needs of DHS. Representatives from the State of Oklahoma and their implementation partner, MIPRO Consulting, will discuss the implementation, keys to its success, and the value that PeopleSoft ultimately brings to the Department of Human Services.
