In Part V of our Health and Safety blog series, we will explore the information associated with corrective actions. Corrective actions allow the organization to identify specific steps to take to prevent the incident from occurring again.
These actions can be corrective or preventive, identifying the hazard and the cause and providing the appropriate category of action.
Identify the current status with estimated and actual completion dates.
In addition to providing corrective action of the incident, you can create an employee or non-employee rehab plan.
If a claim has been made, enter all the data of the claim information.
Enter specific work restrictions or modifications.
And enter specific correction actions with estimated and actual completion dates.
This data helps prevent incidents from occurring to other employees and corrects the action of the employee who had the injury (if corrective action is necessary).
