Maximize PeopleSoft UX at BLUEPRINT 4D 2025: Built-In Tools and Features You Can Start Using Today
PeopleSoft has delivered more User Experience updates than most organizations take advantage of, mostly due to a lack of awareness of how easy these features are to utilize right away in your installation. Many of these features are ready to use in your environment and are already included with your license.

PeopleSoft UX: Some things you can expect to see:
1. Navigation Collections
Many long-time PeopleSoft users will say these aren’t needed, but once they use them for a week or two, they will never go back. Navigation Collections reduce clicks, eliminate the need to memorize menus, and replace outdated favorites. Join me and we will walk through the setup and use of “Nav Collections.”
2. Related Content Framework
It is much too often that I get asked by users to add fields to a page so they can see some other content from another component/record from elsewhere in the system. IT says no to customizing like that, so what do you do? Let’s put that information RIGHT on the page using Related Content!
3. Page and Field Configurator
We will walk through examples of locking down fields and setting up Distributed User Profiles with role assignments with just a few checkboxes.
4. Query Rest API
Looking to share data securely outside PeopleSoft with ease? I’ll show you how to use the Query REST API endpoint to quickly get data out!
5. Alerts Framework
Actionable alerts have existed in PeopleTools for over a decade. We will build a few Alerts that trigger notifications only when action is required.
