Linkology: The Best of the Internet for 6/25/10
In the middle of doing some heavy RFP work right now, so I won’t tell you the story about the time some guy lost his mind in a volleyball tournament and flipped a picnic table over onto the referee who was reffing his match. This was his way of disputing an out of bounds call. The call obviously wasn’t overturned, but it was the best story of the summer, and the table-flipping guy immediately became known as Flip from that moment on. His girlfriend broke up with him a few weeks later, though she said it had nothing to do with the table. Nobody believed her.
Anyway, some really decent links today you should check out. Once you read this stuff, you should wander the halls of your office and talk about them to colleagues. When they don’t understand what you’re talking about, sneer and ask them if they’ve heard of this thing called the Internet. Tell them it’s amazing and one day they’ll be able to send electronic mail over it and even watch TV programs. Sure-fire way to win friends.
